Mr. Madyun said, “I am honored to have the opportunity to bring my experience to the position of Executive Director of Human Resources for Northville Public schools.  I had the opportunity to visit all of the schools in the District and walked away very impressed with everything that I witnessed.    I welcome the opportunity to learn and grow during my time at Northville Public Schools.”

Molly Garcia was recently named Northville’s Elementary Supervisor of Special Services. Ms. Garcia has 21 years of experience in special education and 9 years in special educational leadership.  After completing her degree at Michigan State, Ms. Garcia started her career in education as a teacher for students with Emotional Impairments in South Carolina.  She then moved back to Michigan to work in a cross categorical program in Romulus Community School District.  She was promoted to be their Director of Special Education and successfully worked in that capacity until she became the Director of Special Services for Saline Area Schools where she has worked for the past 6 years.

As the Elementary Supervisor of Special Services, Ms. Garcia will bring a depth of expertise to Northville.  She is very familiar with MTSS, SEL, and the legal requirements of IDEA and MARSE rules.  She has an excellent reputation and is known for being student centered, supportive of building teams and families.  She has presented locally and at out of state conferences (on topics including differentiated instruction).  She was recently recognized internationally for a SEL program that was implemented in Saline.

Ms. Garcia said, " I am very excited to join the Northville administrative team, Northville has a reputation for excellence that I look forward to supporting. During the interview process I was able to meet staff, parents, and community members that I look forward to collaborating with to provide exceptional programming for ALL students. I could not have found a better place to begin the next phase of my career. "
