The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.
For more information about the program at Northville Public Schools, please see the attached message from Food Service Manager Carrie Morfino which includes information regarding student eligibility, as well as answers to frequently asked questions about the Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program and application process.
For your convenience, the 2018-19 Household Application for Free and Reduced Price School Meals can now be submitted online at Free and Reduced Price Lunch Application. A copy of the form also is attached to this ListServ, along with detailed, step-by-step instructions for completing the application.
Application packets will be available at Northville High School and Hillside and Meads Mill middle schools during the upcoming transition days, and in the offices of each of the elementary schools. Applications will be sent home to Cooke School families via student school packets.
For more information or questions, visit the Free and Reduced Lunch page on the district website or contact Ms. Morfino at 248-344-3690.
